BFB would've never smashed, you guys are forgetting the important fact that S&S is a brand NEW song that is helped by the fact that Britney stans never heard/had it before so they're rushing out to buy it.

BFB would've been released as the 4th single from an album that we would've heard MONTHS prior to its release so it wouldn't have shot up to #1 like S&S at all. BFB is and will always be a flop song.

I'm not forgetting that.

The song (like Scream & Shout) is an edgier, different kind of Britney which would have been captivating for the GP with "BFB" like "S&S" is doing now. It's not just Britney stans loving "S&S" right now, a lot of casual folks are falling for it as well.

"BFB" could've/would've been picked much differently than a generic choice ("Criminal") and it would've performed better.
