Tulisa's album "won't be top five in a million years"

Tulisa Contostavlos's solo album sales could be hurt by a performance on The X Factor, according to an insider.
A source told The Sun that Tulisa's debut The Female Boss, which is released on Monday December 4, is not expected to make the album chart top five, but could be further damaged by her appearance on the ITV1 talent show this weekend.
Tulisa is due to perform new singe 'Sight of You' as part of the show's Sunday night results show.
The unnamed insider said: "We're not thinking it will be number one - that's never going to happen. It won't be top five in a million years. But hopefully it will make the top ten.
"The X Factor thing is a risk as it might not translate into sales and everyone will just slag off her performance if it's anything less than brilliant."
Artists who perform on the show typically see an increase in sales, with Bruno Mars and Rihanna enjoying a respective 67% and 36% boost in their album figures following last week's appearances.

At this point, it feels like her team are leaking these stories to buffer the effects of what will almost certainly be a mega-flop.
I don't mind her, but it's clear the masses are only here for her as a TV personality and not much more. And even that is being stretched to its limits this series.
And while the Cheryl coming back talk is carted out every year, the reality is that she did in fact meet with Simon Cowell this week, with the press pin-pointing her as the replacement for Tulisa. Even if Chezza doesn't end up coming back, the fact the talk is about Tulisa getting the axe (and not Nicole) is telling. I mean, look how the Kelly Rowland drama played out. The producers kept leaking stories of Kelly leaving before her series even ended, causing her to eventually leave (or be forced out, depending on which side you believe).
Gotta give credit to ITV and co for trying to make Tulisa the new Cheryl, but between the contant calls of "chav", "*** ash breath", and a stream of singles that don't seem like they're from the same artist, speak less the same album, this was always destined to be her reality. How she'll fare after the show will be a must-see. Most of her Urban "cred" has been flushed.
