I have always thought this about Vanessa Minnillo — she wants everything Jessica Simpson once had, including Nick Lachey. A mere few months after Nick and Jessica announced their split, Minnillo appeared in Nick’s music video for What’s Left Of Me. The making of the video was filmed by an MTV crew and Minnillo, who was constantly flirting with Nick, told the cameras that she “would love to take what’s left of Mr. Lachey” — seems like she really meant it.

The two soon started dating, and since then Minnillo has quit her 2 jobs (TRL and Entertainment Tonight) and now has a cosmetics line out, just like Jessica’s Dessert line. Even the freakin’ logos look the same. Now, Minnillo wants her own reality show! Yes, reality show! Newlyweds clearly had a huge impact on Nick and Jessica’s marriage, and since the divorce both have said they would never do it again. Still, Minnillo has her heart set on being famous. “The show would just follow her around in her day,” a source says, adding wryly, “She really wants to be famous.” Minnillo declined to comment recently when asked about her upcoming projects.

She totally wants Jessica Simpson’s old life, and little by little, she’s getting it.

awww...i liked vanessa minnilo on TRL...the shows is not the same w/o her....

I think what they meant was that she let slip the f-word on new years eve, and since it was live the censors didn't automatically censor it. But I heard it was just because her contract was up with TRL. IDK why she quit ET though.

I've just heard that her contract was up. She said the same word on MTV Spring Break in '06 as well. I was there.
