not JUST for the sake of selling the single to a higher position, like if it has a meaning to it then i'm ok with it, which was the reason i had a huge problem with TOTGA's remix, like it was complete ******** and only for getting higher on the charts (not like it did much tho). i lost so much respect for her when that happened. i am glad she decided not to stoop that low for POM and Wide Awake tho.
but all artists do it, the only one(s) who haven't yet are Gaga and Ke$ha and it's only because they're both in positions where defying the norm won't tarnish their reputation much, it would actually make them look more genuine. i'd be very upset if they did it tho, more specifically just for the charts. i'd be disappointed at Gaga the most.

the song was altered to include Kanye West, it's a remix. a remix turned an official single release, but it's a remix nonetheless.

but none of them stooped as low as to feature other random rap artists as part of the actual song. those remixes were done by DJs and were full on 7 minute long dance beats. don't go there, please.
