NO she isn't. At the very most all Demi does is babble and fight with Simon. Not to mention demi screwed over everyone in her group especially Cece and Paige. She was handed the best crop of performers and ruined each one.
Britney is an amazing mentor she had originally kept her 4 longer than anyone else. I think the reason you don't think she is a good judge is because Brit keeps her answers short and sweet. Which Paula did as well, there's nothing wrong with it.

Demi is an awful judge, and an even worst mentor. At the end, her acts were trying to take the direction away from her.
She keeps saying Simon is old until he clocked her and told her he was succesful at what he does. And it's not like she has an ear for what young people like because her songs have absolutely no impact or success. Simon chose her hoping she would attract the younger demographic but they wont even turn the TV on for her.
And she's always crying or trying to fight.

"Give Your Heart A Break" wasn't even a big hit. 1.5m sold with 150m AI and failed to go top 15 on the Hot 100 and to do **** outside North America. Her three albums sold well under 1.5m worldwide.

Miley was a child star who failed to transition. CBT flopped miserably. She had one huge hit, produced by Dr. Luke. She's kind of big in touring, but she's the female version of the Jonas Brothers. Her movies flopped, or went straight to dvd. And let's not with the cred. She started singing Katy Perry rejects.

Miley had two massive hits: "The Climb" and "Party in the U.S.A." "See You Again" and "7 Things" were big hits as well and much bigger than any of Demeteria's. Her EP outsold Demi's entire discography.

And if Kelly has a big ego, then Milely has the hugest ego in the world. Remember when she thanked everyone for calling her THE NEW BRITNEY, and when she said she would destroy Radiohead's career (!) because they wouldn't say hi to her. Her sense of entitlement is just... ch.

LOL was NOT a success. Itbarely made back its budget, and that was thanks to Home Media sales. The company lost money on that one, and it didnt even have a full WW release.
The LAST Song was in 2010, before CBT, when she was relevant. And it was a Nicholas Sparks movie, which always do well. And what awards? The Razzies?
I'll give you the hits though. I like her music, I just hate her and her over the top acting.

She said, "I'm gonna ruin them, I'm gonna tell everyone," but according to Us Weekly, a tabloid that regularly makes up stuff.
Miley sold more albums, singles, records, and she's a much touring act, btw. She can back it up.
