It's not about what Chris was doing at that specific moment. I think people have had a problem with his attitude and actions on a more general level. He's had break downs, temper tantrums, viciously insulted fans and interviewers, done numerous things such as the tracks with Rih to "stir the pot" as much as possible. THAT is why people remain upset with him. Nobody expected him to show remorse and sorrow forever - they expected him to dial it all back a bit and be more humble. He did the exact opposite, so the reactions he's been getting aren't really all that surprising. You don't take a dump in public then try to hide it with more crap.

I have to disagree, I think Chris Brown has been given to MANY chances to show he is a good person.

I don't have to deal with what he deals with because I have the self control and respect for others to stop myself from making a decision that will alter the entire path of my career because of a fit of rage.

He viciously insulted his fans in that incident in which somebody tried to get an autograph and he had security threaten to beat him up, called him a certain anti-gay slur, and responded to a question about his violent attitude with "I still beat the p***y up." That's hardly a way to act as a human being, let alone when the world is already mostly against you.

edit: as far as the Rihmixes, the both of them both had every opportunity to say "maybe that's a bit insensitive and can send the wrong idea." The label(s?) had that same opportunity. The few radio stations that picked up on the Rihmixes had that opportunity. It sends a negative message about relationships and the standards by which women should live and the general public should treat dangerous criminals. Sociology 101 here...

But can you actually prove that he said/did any of the above? Can't you see the point Nick Cannon is making with regards to the media. They've fabricated so many Chris Brown related incidents from him allegedly stealing mobile phones, to the above case that you just stated. Don't you think that by now somebody would have initiated some form of legal proceedings against him to back up your points?

You're missing Nick Cannon's point. Look at Charlie Sheen's actions as of late and look at Sean Penn's domestic violence case in which he beat Madonna over the head with a baseball bat. The difference with these cases may be that both of those men have kept a low profile since but with the era of Twitter and with people constantly attacking Chris Brown on Twitter on a daily basis, including celebrities, of course he's going to respond. He's shown remorse for what he's done by apologizing to Rihanna and to his fans. He also does domestic violence work at the Jenesse Center and launched his own charity which deals with domestic violence too. Yet, mainstream media would never report that.

Because he's too busy making a fool of himself on Twitter! Hopefully he actually stays off, stays out of incidents with paparazzi, Good Morning America producers, whoever...

Remember when Kanye reached his peak stupidity point (T-Swizzle incident), went into utter exile and came back viewed in a much better light? Maybe staying off Twitter can be the start of something similar for Chris - he has a lot more to make up for, though.

Basing reported behaviours on actual past behaviours exhibited by Chris (domestic violence, throwing chairs, twitter meltdowns, etc...), indicates that he is coming to a well informed opinion.
