Yeah!! This album is still in top albums one year after release!! It was the 13th best selling album of 2006 and they say it is going to be in the top 10 of best selling albums of 2007 (it has sold over 6,5 million copies worldwide till now). As in May 2007, "Loose" was the best selling album of 2007, with more than 3 million copies sold just in 2007!! But the new albums by Linkin Park and by Avril Lavigne (and probably Rihanna) will make it bigger in 2007..but I am sure that "Loose" will stand in the top 10 albums of best selling albums of 2007!
With the releases of "Do it" in U.S.A and "In God's hands" in Europe (and both in Asia, Australia, New Zeland, Africa and South America)...I think the album will have another "selling good-wave"...keeping its spot in the top albums for some more several months... ...
By the way, did you know that Justin Timberlake's "Futuresex/lovesounds" and Nelly Furtado's "Loose" sold around the same amount of units till now?... ... The difference stands in the fact that he sold quite more in U.S.A and Nelly Furtado is much more popular than Justin in Europe!
Another curious fact is that "Promiscuous" was the most popular single from "Loose" in U.S.A ( seven weeks in Nš1 of top charts of Billboard!) and it was the less popular single in Europe till now.
