Rihanna Told By Bosses To Take Time Out So Rita Ora Can Take Limelight?
Following her wild 777 tour, Rihanna has been told to ‘take time out’ from her music career and let Rita Ora outshine her, according to reports.
Now magazine cites sources who claim that Rihanna’s record company bosses have told her to slow down and take a break after being criticised for ignoring the fans and press who were invited to travel with her in her private jet across the globe during her seven day tour.
“Rihanna’s bosses have encouraged her to slow down and not rush to release an eighth album next year,” a source said. “Meanwhile Rita will be pushed up their agenda to crack America.”
Rita Ora, the 21-year-old British singer-songwriter whose debut album, Ora, and three consecutive singles rocketed to the top of the UK charts, is “clean-cut and scandal-free,” according to the source.“That’s the image they want to project to sell records,” the source added.
However, Rihanna is still topping the charts, so will she really slow down now?
The 24-year-old singer took to Twitter today to celebrate the success of her new album Unapologetic, which just has become her first number one album in the US.
