I'm not that surprised, but I was still expecting 200K+. There doesn't seem to be ton of interest in the album even though the title track is more successful than TEoF's lead single(s).

Also, TEoF opened with 400K+ in 2009, after a huge era with a smash single. This album's coming after the so-so TEoF era.

Rod is gonna slay the Christmas sales.

With all that promo, this is dissapointing.

Damn Alicia. I expected you to top last week's Unapologetic numbers.

Poor R&B.

But when you put things (Nicki,Rih,Xtina's numbers) in perspective,it's pretty normal.The music industry is more and more victim of the economic crisis.

Still, she's done a shitload of promo. Her stans have been bragging about how RCA went all in. Commercials, every show in the States, an Empire State Building light show, even freaking Starbucks.

Wow, those are horrible numbers. Rod Stewart will probably sell close to 200k and be #1. This week last year, Buble jumped from 227k to 300k.

I don't see Alicia trending upwards either, GoF isn't a good song.

welp...I think those numbers would be the highest for a R&B album this year

Beyonce did a little over 310k 1st week with a R&B album that leaked 3 weeks early...no need to be scared for her...and I think her 5th album with be more pop then R&B

i thought she is doing more than Unapologetic, didnt someone say she would do 500k easily in syg yesterday
