How does Nicki? I don't think she does, at least not since she "went pop." She's sexual but not in the same (stereotypical) way as Rih. And that's why she's gotten so much stupid backlash this year.
I feel like there was more space for it before, tbh. Although the ones that got away with being "innocent and fluffy" were usually more R&B-leaning, or had R&B roots (Shanice, Janet, Brandy, etc).
