That's the attitude I'm taking regarding Nicki.

She opened up the scope of female pop-rap, now it's time for another artist (or Ke$ha it seems) to take it to the next level.

I imagine Nicki's writers and producers will stick together and just give Nicki demos and tracks to artists like Ke$ha, Cher Lloyd, or one of the many new artists that can both rap and sing.

It's actually incredibly disrespectful how poorly she's treating Va Va Voom and Masquerade (and Young Forever). I don't think Dr Luke should waste his time on somebody so rude. Cher Lloyd could easily slay these tracks anyway.

This is done on Rhythmic, and almost done on Pop. What a waste of a song, why waste money to release a song you don't even like?

Urban wise if she can score 2 hits to put her back on the map on urban radio then she will be good. She might need 3 as she is grossly underexposed on urban radio.

She released TB and Freedom so she would have an excuse not to promote VVV as a single. At least, it seems to be that way.

This has been slowing down in spins for quite a few days and when it starting slowing down there were still quite a few songs having huge updates. God even Little Things by One Direction has been getting way bigger spin updates than this for days and it's not even radio friendly. It's not ALL on Christmas, it IS in fact slowing down too.

This is one of the most critically acclaimed songs of her career PLUS embraced by the general public (debuted on Hot 100 from sales alone when PFRR dropped, higher than ANY other song... won the poll on MPF for second single... etc etc etc)

You're delusional if you think it would be anything LESS than Super Bass and Starships. Especially Starships since it has the undeniable advantage of holiday sales and awards season. And even if you don't think it would pass those songs, there is NO DOUBT it would AT LEAST be one of the 3 most successful singles of her life.

This might not be a flop, but everything she's trying to push in lieu of it is flopping MISERABLY.

From a worldwide perspective, I don't think it could beat Starships or Turn Me On, but definitely on-par with Super Bass. In the US, I expected this to be equal to at least Turn Me On.

There's still time for it to blow up big, but I feel like Marilyn Monroe will quickly come to close out the era in preparation for the next album.
