I didn't get the end. Why did kelly leave with that guy after he started touching that girl in the audience? I thought it was good, but not as good as the original. But I agree, Kelly looks very pretty.

It only makes sense in that era that they were representing in the video. It was all about the rich and famous families and how women only get forced into those relationships and say nothing about it. It reminds me of Titanic where Rose had to go through the same thing.
However, I don't understand this project as a whole. The original single was released less than 2 years ago. Isn't it a little too soon to re-work it?
its a duet they decided to do after they did crossroads. they had ab original duet but thought this one would be better.
I really like this video though.
Incredible video!! I feel like the arrangement and music is much more powerful with the Reba/Kelly version than Kelly's original, even though both are absolutely amazing.
And the video just added even more to it. Bravo!! Reba and Kelly were awesome in it.
I just ran into this. I like this new interpretation.
I completely understand the time period projected in this video. (easily early 1900s, but I'll throw the dart at late 1930s/early 1940s?) This was way before women learned to fight back, the pepper spray, and the "oh no you-did-'nt?!"
I think this is a great video, but the first version (which kicked major ass on TRL) still has my favor.
They were suppose to release "A Lot Like You" for Reba's Duets album, but when Reba performed "Because of You" at the CMT Crossroad, she wanted to record that song. And that song got released instead.
