It's out on December 7th for $99, only released in Canada. Taking design tips from the PS3 I see

It doesn't look much than the original they should've kept the design close to the original because this thing is hideous...

Who will be buying this though?

The original wii can do everything that this one can + more since they removed backward compatibility in the new versions at a cheaper price.

I call bluff. If it was being released then it would have been announced by now, not to mention the fact that Nintendo would have released a mini ages ago if they were planning it. They wouldn't both releasing another revision AFTER their next-gen console was put out.

Stupid. This console is all kinds of pointless. I wish Nintendo would just give up on the Wii already.

They DID just put out a revamped GAMECUBE last year.....

I suppose they do this in order to reduce Wii's fabrication costs so they can focus all the money on the WiiU.

Anyway the first Wii will always be the best one due to its backward compatibility with Game Cube. I wouldn't trade mine for anything
