She's trying to sleep over and over again to continue her sweet dream. Let her. She'll be back when she finally gets awake. Give her time, you know its hard.
If you're argument is true, Rih should have had her 1st number 1 back in 2020 with LOUD.
So this is actually moot.
What really helps her get this (if ever) is the other side she portrayed the public this era.
Releasing Diamonds is one of the smartest career move she ever done.
Singing Stay in SNL also helps too, it just shocase the whole vibe of the album, and the GP are giving it a try.
You'd be surprised how dedicated rap fans are. Loud was actually her highest first week sales until now due to LTWYL Pt. II (a remixed song vs. a NEW song).

I know but 30 seconds of Eminem rapping on Numb = rap fans buying Rihanna's album in which she sings almost 55-56 minutes is just a moot point.
People who bought this album because of Diamonds and Stay.. When they put the CD in, press play and that gibberish intro to Fresh Off The Runway starts. I would pay to see their faces.

Well, I wouldn't say she's #1 just yet. Black Friday will disrupt some things.

According to Billboard the prediction was lowered to 220-250k. But since predictions for new albums released on BF week are usually overestimated, I wouldn't be surprised if 'Unapologetic' sells only 200-210k.

Billboard's prediction is definitely more realistic than HDD's this time. But it is a fact that both of them want to create the hype to keep people checking their sites. Even though they actually know that there is no way that Taylor won't be in 250-300k range.

No. 'Unapologetic' is just NOT 'family friendly'. I can't imagine anyone buying it as a gift for holiday, especially with that cover. Taylor is going to benefit from it much more. I still see U selling only in 200-220k range, while Taylor 250k at least.
