It didn't take her 7 tries to outsell 4 though so the Queen remains unbothered
Yeah, I really like and respect Beyoncé but I didn't know her fans were like this! She may not be the best album seller, but she's between the best selling acts of all time and she already is next to The Beatles, Madonna, Michael Jackson and Mariah with the most #1 singles. Totally unbothered.
The fact that the #1 is being made into some momentous occasion just makes it easier to drag her. Celebrate as if it's nothing historic. Because it is not.
yeah for me:
1) GGGB
2) Rated R
3) Loud
4) Talk that talk
5) Unapologetic
6) A girl like me
7) Music of the sun
+1000
It's Kinda sad that one of her worst album's became her first #1. Loud, GGB And Rated R should have broken the spell.
But it's still a celebration as now there is nothing holding her down.
It doesnt matter, at the end of the day, they are at the same level, i prefer starting small and getting bigger and bigger with each release instead of falling from 30 millions albums to barely 1.5 millions
Getting the #1 album doesn't mean she's bigger, she may get it the #1 but what if she never scan gold? So your statement may not apply in this case but whatever that makes you sleep at night
Fact of the matter is she has crossed another ****ing thing off the list
Last stop $125M+ tour
I'm a stan. And it's true. In the grand scheme of things, a #1 album that sells a million copies = a #2 album that sells a million copies = a #3 album that sells a million copies, etc. It bears no real significance besides bragging rights... which we already have for several other reasons.
For Me, this album has nothing special. I like a couple of songs a lot but the whole album...
Meanwhile Rated R remains one of the best Pop albums of the last decade.
1) Rated R
2) Talk That Talk
3) Loud
4) GGGB
5) Unapologetic
And lol @ people saying it only took her 7 attempts. I know she 'should' of had a #1 earlier but all her albums post GGGB have sold very well and outsold most #1 albums (including those by recent pop chicks).
My two favs getting their first #1 alums only months a part

Yes. Shake the haters off, effortlessly. To stan is nothing less than the above statement.
