Right Now is cute but it's so generic that it's a bit of a risk. I don't see it doing much better than Who's That Chick. Jump really stands out with its brilliance, both radio and music buyers would be all over it.
WTC didn't fare well only because radio was suffering from Rihanna overload at the time. She had Only Girl, WMN, S&M, and All of the Lights going on all at once. I believe that LTWYL was also still charting at the time as well.
YES please! LIP is one of the best songs on the album. I don't know why it's so hated on ATRL. But whatever, haters gon hate and Queen Rih is gon snatch them wigs with her #1 smash single called "Lost in Paradise".
I'm literally listening to Jump at this very moment. It does not fit radio at all.
Not in the "stand out & smash hard" way.
Still 2nd best of the album though.
I relistened to Lost In Paradise & it continues to sound like a dark horse smash.
You need to clean out your ears. Jump is a club banger. Lost in Paradise is great but there's a reason why it is one of the lowest selling songs off of Unapologetic in every country.
No more urban division, what if the song is urban? Release it to pop, too.
Don't you guys remember what happened to the urban singles of 'Talk That Talk'?
Whatever song she chooses, make the video and release it WW like 'Diamonds'.
There weren't any urban only singles other than cockiness. She sent ydo, wfl, TTT and WHYB to all stations. BC was leaked by her because def jam refused to release it until radio stations started playing it.
