Gorgeous former MTV VJ Erin McNaught and her UK music producer beau Example are engaged!
McNaught was spotted in Sydney over the weekend sporting a sparkly rock on her ring finger as her fiancé, whose real name is Elliot Gleave, hit town to play the Stereosonic festival.
“Yes, Elliot and I are engaged
Thank you everyone for your lovely well wishes xx @example,” Erin tweeted this morning.
Example and the former Miss Australia met in October last year during an interview for MTV.
“When I met her, because she was famous and stunning, I was a bit stuck for words. It’s not like me, I’m normally a cocky b****** with girls. But I was like a giggly schoolkid. I don’t get starstruck — well, only once with Stevie Wonder — but she turned me into a schoolboy,” Example told The Sun recently.
“I don’t want to lose her, and if I do behave like an idiot I can tell her. I think I’m going to get married next year and I hope to have kids the year after. I know what I want now.”
