Which Countdown show is the best VH1 Top 20 countdown or TRL
In my opinion I say VH1 top 20 countdown is the best.Its the best because they do the top 20 videos and u can vote as many times as u want at VH1.At TRL u can only vote once and u have to be a member of MTV to vote.At VH1 anyone can vote.VH1 is the best.
I agree with you. None of the countdowns nowadays have been good. TRL, Vh1, 106 & Park, all of them have been really bad. I just don't like the random jumps of people and then fall off. Especially on Vh1 when someone can return at like 4 and then fall to 18 and then move back up to 11. It's so stupid.
And voting as many times as you want on VH1 is a bad thing. It doesn't show how many fans an artist/song has. It just shows how many fans there are that have no lives.
TRL but none of them cause of the random jumps especially Umbrella on 106 & Park, it goes up to number 4 on the c/d and suddenly falls off the next day.

I hate that so much about the VH1 countdown. I prefer the TRL countdown.
mine are more to AC and not to teen pop or hip hop/ r&b so i think vh1's is much better...and i like that c/d has more movement and with high debuts...nowadays in trl all the debuts are @ 10 and movements of -1 or +1 are getting more common

I actually like the random jumps. Movement is always a good thing because otherwise it gets boring like TRL where 95% of movements are +1, no movement at all, or -1. Songs jumping and falling 10 spots can keep you interested. But I agree none are really good anymore.
I still stand by my opinion.VH1 is better than TRL.Just look at all the stupid songs TRL has right now.All the good videos on TRL only lasted a few days and then fell off the countdown and never came back to retire.So far all the good videos that fell off TRL's countdown are doing great on VH1.Its no contest VH1 is the better and dominant countdown.TRL just sucks.TRL used to be good,now I don't know what happened to TRL its just getting worse.
Yeah I have to change my opinion. VH1 is better now 'cause TRL ****ing has Lil' Mama, Sean Kingston and all these nobodies that no one cares about but yet the big names are struggling on there. At least VH1 knows good music.
I think that out of TRL, 106 and Park, and/or VSPOT Top 20, the VH1 countdown is by far the best of these 3 mentioned overall because VH1 knows the hell they're doing with their videos and a majority of the top 20 will never be on regular MTV or MTV2. (Examples: Pussycat Dolls, Don't Cha; Feist, 1234; Elliot Yamin, Wait For You; Foo Fighters, Best of You; and more) When VH1 plays music from 3:00A-11:00A EDT/EST (10:00A EDT/EST Sundays), they make the most of their music video shows and is the least repetitive of the 2 main Viacom music channels (MTV and VH1). VSPOT is more AC/Soft Rock/Pop/Soft Alt Rock leaning, 106 and Park is all-Hip Hop, mainly mainstream, whereas TRL is nowadays more Rap/RandB/Pop leaning, however, when Carson Daly was host, it was primarly rock/pop oriented. .
VH1 VSPOT Top 20 rules supreme to 106 and Park and TRL!
TRL and 106 and Park are daily countdowns while VH1's is weekly (w/repeats).
TRL, and MTV as a whole, with the exception of MTV News, has been ****** the last 3 years, and MTV's Axing of ATR (All Things Rock) ended Alternative on MTV. TRL is horrible lately, though MTV News reports (especially when SuChin Pak does the TRL reports) have been the only good thing to say about the show.
