Family Guy has jumped the ship a long time ago, as has the Simpsons. A series finale would do both some good.

I don't really watch the animated shows on network television bar American Dad. The only cartoon that has me hooked is Archer.

As for the shows targeted to children, I won't really care.

spongebob is not up there with the Disney legends
If it gets cancelled i won't be glad or sad, i never liked it and grew up watching the golden era of nick and had to deal with those classics getting canned.
