Discussion: Do You Have OCD ?

I DO AND I HATE IT
MINE ARE :
1: everytime i hear someone say something (on tv /songs/radio or people) i have to count the letters of every word in that sentence with my fingers.
2: i Always OVER THINK Things and Get All Anxious
3: im a very fatalistic person i like to imagine things in my head that WILL NEVER happen

4: for some reason i always think the worst case scenarios that could happen to me or my family

5: i always knock on a wood 3 times if i think of something bad happening (its a myth) but i do it all the time

6: everything just has to be right
7: i attached to things that has no value i always get mad when i break or loose them

Mild maybe. It doesn't intervene with my life, unless you count BDD as a subsidiary of OCD. Which it is tbh.

I have to have everything a certain way or else I can't leave the house.

Yes and I do some of the things mentioned in your OP but I won't get specific because that would scare my OCD ass even further.

I don't think so but my family says yes because I like to put everything in the right order or place and have everything lined up just right. Like if I go out to dinner, when I'm done eating I get all the plates together and the trash and cups and line them up at the end of the table. But I'm just trying to make it easier for the person who has to clean it all up

Sometimes I check the faucets a few times before leaving the house. Not really OCD, though. I just want to make sure I didn't leave something running.
