I was kinda embarassed as a Gaga stan when Marry The Night flopped, after so much effort in promoting was put into it. I'm not embarassed by the video, but rather on some MTN performances: the proppy NYE and Grammy Nominations act, the beginning part of the headless UK X factor performance, and the Thanksgiving cut which was shown on GMA (so much effort put into naught)!
Some more tough times as a fan for me are when Gaga dresses and puts on make-up so horribly and so ugly I'm just ashamed, and when she insists on being naked all the time (a little naked is good but not ala CAKE and those creepy Terry photos of her getting milk only with her undies on).
But hey, I overcame all that and here I am, still choosing to be a fan because I believe in her and her talent unlike others who gave up on her already.

My toughest moment as a Monster, had to be the day she wore that (allegedly) leather coat, I thought about stop supporting her.
I think the 'toughest moments' have to be those that make you so uncomfortable and rethink if you should continue supporting an artist, not just because she had an off performance, or one of her singles didn't reach top 10...
The VMA's 2011 performance. First time in AGES, where I felt like she was being annoying and probably the only performance of the BTW Era that I detest for a medley of reasons (not to mention she fell when she slipped on the beer that she opened on stage ). I was thoroughly disappointed.
But the rest of the TONS of flawless performances from the era make up for it (The MTN performances were )
And seeing Judas's chart performance. I took it hard. Eventually, TEOG came a few weeks later into the Top 10 and I was alright again.

eh no, because of those photos she was just being crucified by everyone (even those I know who are conservative and close minded) as nothing but a brainless wh0re slvt of a poptart who sold her soul to the devil and with those photos, you cant really do anything to defend her
