Keke Palmer is a new artist singed to Atlantic records and she is getting ready to release her debut album "So Uncool" on September 18th and the first single is called "Footworkin".

You might remember her from movies such as Barbershop 2: Back in Business, Madea's Family Reunion, Akeelah and the Bee, & Jump In!
She also played the pregnant runaway teen in Ludacris' "Runaway Love" video.

She is another Disney artist, however, I feel that she has worked to distance herself from that network, especially for the genre she is working to. Also, we need to realize that she had a career before "Jump In!," so she did not grab her fame from Disney like Hilary Duff, Vanessa Hudgens, or Ashley Tisdale. We'll see how this goes, cuz her Disney songs were decent enough I guess. = /

She was in Jump In!, so everyone is going to lump her in with Disney Artists and a lot won't even listen and still won't like it. The little kids will be lining up for CDs, though.
