We all have our insecurities, nobody's perfect. I WOULD date a bi guy if i was sure he's a good person. But i also think it would be easier for a bi guy to be with a woman since it's more accepted by society and it gave him a lot of privilieges a gay relationship couldn't give him (kids and social acceptance are good examples). I saw this thing happening countless times.

I know not all bi guys are doing it, it would be impossible for a whole group of people to be exactly the same. But when you take that into consideration, i could understand why some gay men would be afraid of the idea of dating bi guys. Is it a good thing? No. But i can understand where that insecurity come from.

The thing here though is that assumptions about the bisexual man's goals in life is causing the phobia. Advocating personal anecdote as proof and applying it to every situation in life is a disastrous way to go about things because the one rolling with this has the idea that all bisexual men can be grouped together in a hive mind.

Taking off a social security blanket and going into things without assumptions can make a difference.

Personally, if I wanted to lead a "normal life," I would just as soon not date at all, rather than search for a girlfriend.

Either way, I'm just saying that as a "marginally bisexual" male, that's not really a prerogative for me.

And would I date other males who are closer to the middle than me? Sure, if he's interested in me and I'm interested in him. If he were to leave me for a straight relationship to be "normal" then that's his problem that goes beyond him being "bisexual"

Basically being male wouldn't be enough for a bi guy and will eventually stray, read between the lines not everything is about misogyny . Just cause i gave an explanation does not mean i agree with it just saying how it is.
