There are a lot of straight men that enjoy Madonna - thought it's odd for a straight man to admit it publically in the last decade as opposed to the 1980s or 1990s - but since he grew up with so many girls I can see him not being ashamed to admit it while still being straight.
That said, I do think he's at the very least confused.
