I'm pretty sure the S&S tour success was in part an effect of the Confessions DVD. Everyone loved that DVD, it played everywhere and everyone knew it was a great show.
I really wonder why it had the success that it did. Personally, there is no comparison that Confessions was the perfect show from beginning to end. I didn't like a bunch of the song selection on Sticky & Sweet, but some of the live performances like Vogue and Into The Groove were amazing. Although I never got the chance to see it live, watching it back I don't feel like my attention could be kept during parts like Doli Doli. I don't know if its because of the editing of the overall feel during the segment that make me feel like its in a lull part.
I was charting S&S minutes ago. The audience totals for that tour are insane - and this was following Hard Candy. WTF? Was she visiting a lot of these places for the first time in a long time?
Before her second leg (a year later) - which was basically just through Europe - her tour total was 285 million.

I personally LOVE the Sticky & Sweet tour, it was the first Madonna show i ever saw so it mean something special to me.
^ I love the MDNA Tour. The only thing I would say is that it is a little darker and some of the newer songs just aren't good live. S&S Tour was very fun and happy for most part.

Btw... 3 days left to see her for the very first time!!! I'm so happy and excited to see ha, this Friday I will tweet my fingers off for the GT ticket.

You didn't hear it from me, but a handful of the selected MDNA songs were kinda messy. Its wild how a semi-mediocre song like 'I'm Addicted' done live ***** so hard though.

I'm Addicted is one of her best songs in the last 10 years, it's a great song imo.
I totally understand this. MDNA Tour was my first tour (which I went to 3 times) and I'll stan hard for it.
