I think the album is great, truthfully and I bought it myself

BUT I think it's still a bit premature to say she is for sure getting the number 1 spot, it's 1D's second week and with the Black Friday sale I think it could easily do 300k or more. Isn't it being sold for 3.99?

EVEN IF 1D drops 50% that is still more than Rihanna is estimated to sell. With a 50% drop they'll do 269,000 copies and with the 3.99 sale I doubt they'll drop below 50%.

Rihanna does deserve the #1 spot and I hope she gets it.

If it is being sold for 3.99 on Amazon MP3, it won't make THAT much of a difference because the market share of amazon MP3 itself is not that big.

But how large is the second week drop usually with 1D? It wouldn't take much to keep them from dropping below 50% of their first week sales.



If any of the large retailers have a sale on their album it could make a huge difference too.

Not enough history to say. Only their second album and they were relatively unknown when their first album hit in the states less than a year ago. I would't be shocked if its more like a 60-70% drop....also wouldn't be shocked if they hold on to #1.

Not sure if any retailers are going to have Take Me Home on sale on Black Friday or not.

I think they could easily do 300k or more, if they drop 40% they'll do 323k and tomorrow is the biggest shopping week of the year. Even if it isn't on sale it's very possible it will still sell very well.

Yeah it will be a nail biter. I am a huge 1D fan.....but since they have 0 radio presence right now and have had no promo this week (skipped the ama's) they could easily see a very large drop.
