Taylor basically did nothing on pop with last era (though she's coming back strong this time on POP)..
Rihanna basically flopped with TTT- the album and singles (only WFL smashed, and its sister WHYB, a decent hit)

Everyone has their flop time so i don't see two flop (Judas and MTN) is a major issue..
Last 4 singles:
Judas - did decently everywhere else except US
TEOG - top 3 (or top 10 if you don't count HUGE digital sales debut)
YAI - decent top10 like WHYB
MTN - flop

and they smashed in some countries, including Asia ! Check your fact. "without exception"

The irony.

I think it's 3 things:
1. The connection with her fans. She takes it to heart. Sometimes it even seems patronising but it works
2. She was one of the 1st pop stars to really utilise social networking in the new age.
3. She's super-duper interesting

Imma need monsters to chill on the best performer tag. Image-Google "best performer of this generation", there's only ONE queen that shows up on the 1st page.

Yet Born This Way outsold all of those people's last albums worldwide

... no.

Gaga is one of the most interesting popstars around, she has talent and if she delivers stronger singles than she did with BTW she'll gain all the momentuim ( that people are convicned) she lost.

because she's weird as **** which makes her stand out like dogs balls.

Everything she does is iconic. She's unpredictable and extremely talented

Her drive tbh. She actually WANTS to be a popstar, and a hugely successful one as that. Combine that with her talent and a sprinkling of luck and of course she was going to go far.

Because of her catchy music, she came to the industry at the RIGHT time.

She has mastered the art of fame.
