Chart Notes: November 24, 2012
"Every Night," Asher's "Here With You" controls
Hot 25 leaderboard. Christina Perri graces Top 5.
Asher Monroe's "Every Night" spends a fourth week at No. 1, after debuting atop the chart. Asher's other title, "Here With You," continues to trail behind at No. 2 for a third frame. Swedish House Mafia's "Don't You Worry Child" locks in at No. 3 for a second week. Zedd's "Clarity," featuring vocal from Foxes, bumps 5-4.
From the film Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part II, Christina Perri's "A Thousand Years - Part II," featuring Steve Kanzee, debuts at No. 1 on Hot Digital Songs (20 plays) and consequently graces the Hot 25 chart at No. 5 to become this week's hot shot debut. Perri's original entry, "A Thousand Years," which peaked at No. 7, returns at No. 22.
Asaf's "One Day / Reckoning Song" slips 4-6 and out of the top 5. "One Day," "Child," and "Clarity," are currently the techno/dance hits to hover into the top 5. Next week, "One Day" is expected to rebound. Techno/dance hits continue, as Adrian Sina's "Angel," featuring Sandra N., roars in at No. 1 on Hot Airplay and splashes in at No. 16 on Hot 25.
One notch each, Hedley's "Kiss You Inside Out" slips 6-7 and Linkin Park's "Powerless" slips 7-8. Rihanna's "Diamonds" and Lifehouse's "Between The Raindrops" remains at No. 9 and 10, respectively.
Maroon 5's "Daylight" shines in the right direction as it ascends 14-11. Kesha's "Die Young" travels up 17-13 and Adele's "Skyfall" bumps 19-17. Check later for the Hot 25 for its entirely.
