Oh I love the song too, it just never struck me as particularly strong. I assumed its success was thanks to the chart power his previous singles got him. I guess it has the tiny, tiny advantage of featuring Ne-Yo even though he isn't a big deal in the US these days, but I'd have preferred it if they just reworked another song and released it.
And yes. I completely agree. Animal needs a release in both the US and the UK.
