Should Legend X go full on country for album 6?
Just a Fool, her first country-tinged single, peaked at the #11-#20 range on iTunes during release peak, easily outdoing the other album tracks and it is has been one of the most critically acclaimed tracks as well. The track is now shooting back up the charts less than an hour after Legend X's highly anticipated performance of the aforementioned track on The Voice. It could probably end up out selling Your Body if Xtina continues promoting it.
Secondly, the country world is desperately in need of another big female country star. The only big female solo artists in country atm are Carrie, Taylor, Miranda, and to a lesser extent Reba.
So...question is, should Christina move over into the country world and leave the judgmental, evil, unappreciative pop world behind?

What's left of her stanbase will follow her and she could gain many new fans in the country world
Also country fans are very loyal and generally buy albums
It would be difficult at first because country radio wouldn't immediately pick her up, but once she starts getting some hits she could become a really big force in the country world

Full on country? I don't know. But she should definitely do more songs in that vein, and definitely capitize on the "soul pop" market that Adele and bruno mars are flourishing in

I love it, but you say that country world needs a big female, when Taylor Swift is around and slayin everyone. Even if you dont like her, you have Carrie Underwood.

2 isn't enough. There is a ton of men in the country world. There should be several huge woman stars, as well.

She could pull a Kelly and do crossover tracks. Just A Fool is a perfect tester for that.
However, I think she's just releasing the wrong songs. People want Blank Page and Red Hot Kinda Love from her.
No one wants Your Body or Let There Be Love from her, obviously.

This, tbh. She doesn't have to go country, but I think it shows people are willing to listen to mature and soulful Xtina more so than what she was trying to do with stuff like NMT and YB.

Country music is very sexist,so the more women break into the country world the better
That's why I'm so glad Kelly's doing some country, although I wish she would do a full album ; same with X, I think she has a lot of potential
