What Im trying to say that they shouldn't be on some pedestal just because of who they are. I get it, at Radiohead's level, any comments against them are blasphemy. So Im not surprised by the reactions lol
But like I said, people are missing the point of how Radiohead is important in their field, as is Rihanna for her field. Not saying that the influence of Radiohead doesn't live on in current artists. But I think it's going too a bit far to say that at this moment, an artist of another genre who is in their peak at the top of their genre, can't compare no matter what to an artist that had their heyday, and that a comparison is so blasphemous. That's a snobbish point way of looking at it, and that's where I disagree.
Rihanna barely has a say in the music that she has to sing, so how da **** is she important to her field of music, as well as being compared to artists that craft their own stuff?
