Oh gerl, I thought my iPhone 5/internet was messing up. They need to hurry up and fix this because I don't like seeing those green bubbles unless I have to.

If you are on a phone, just turn the feature off and it solves most of your problems.
Settings -> Messages -> TURN OFF iMessage
Now you can send and receive texts. For iPads and iPods....tough luck till the fix.

Wait what kinda local phones do you all have?
My iPhone automatically sends a message as text if iMessage is down.
Y'all need to upgrade.
