What if Gagas first single is a Die Young kinda song ... Generic and Radio friendly, Would she succeed (top 10+), would her album sell and Will Lil Monster leave their Mama monster?

Well the hype surrounding her name, plus a radio friendly single...it would for sure be a hit.

It would do very well commercially... but I would be extremely disappointed. I want commercial, but with some risk. I rather her have a semi risky lead single with commercial twists that ends up being a top 10 hit than a generic forgettable #1 hit tbh.

I dont mind a safe lead single and a riskier second single.

You know she's gonna have a radio deal and there will be so much anticipation it will shoot to #1 on iTunes and after the fans do all the work, the GP will latch on.

If she pulled a "Die Young" first single, I'd definitely become her stan again, since it's an amazing track and this thread was basically created by a pressed dude who can't deal with Die Young's success over the charts.
