Pull the plug, mourn, move on. I wouldn't want to be like Terri Schiavo and neither would my loved ones.

I'd want to be taken off life support if it was me but I guess I'd only do it if I knew that's what they wanted with the exception hat there was litterally no chance they would live then I would definitely let them pull the plug no use dragging it out unnessisarily

I wouldn't pull the plug.

I would hope that they'd let me know in advance what they would want to me to do in that situation. But it would be a really hard decision for me to make. If they were brain dead, then that would be the only way I could pull the plug without feeling bad about it, because I know there isn't a snowball's chance in hell of recovering from that.

If they was going to end up in a vegetated yes i would and would want the same done to me.

If there was little to no chance of them coming out of the state they are in, then I would take them off life support. It would an extremely hard decision, but it would be for the best.

Pretty much this. I would talk about this with people I care about a lot.

I would do EXACTLY as they asked. We went through something similar about funeral arrangements when my grandfather passed away and it was a complete mess. Everyone wanted to do something different because nothing was really concretely specified in his will/my grandma hadn't really discussed it with him.

I'd leave them on for at least a month and see how things were going then decide

If they were going to be a completely different person and suffer from many handicaps that wouldn't enable them to do really anything in life after they woke up then I may consider pulling it sooner

i'm all for euthanasia and if they want it, then why not?

I've somewhat been in this situation. The doctors discussed the possibility of it coming to having to make this decision. There was no chance that we would take them off life support. Luckily, they've recovered so much from that point.

I'd easily pull the plug, why make them suffer any longer?
