The person just gave their opinion about Ke$ha's use of symbolism, the only ones who did anything wrong were the people responding abrasively to the comment.
If a question or answer is offensive to people ie racist, sexist, homophobic , trans-phobic etc then they should be reported and given a WP as this is a criminal offense and wrong. If someone just wants to express an alternative point of view then no they should not. If you ask a question you should expect different answers , feedbacks and opinions, not the opinions you want. The other comments got WP because they went off topic ( like started bring Rihanna in etc ).
