Because it was. I feel like the judges are there to give constructive criticism and Britney is just a waste of space. If it's not a line she's being fed, she can't say it. The perfect example is when she was faced with the opportunity to defend Beatrice's song choice. Instead of explaining her thought process in picking the song, she just made some ridiculously rehearsed barb at Simon, complimented Beatrice, and moved right along. She doesn't have the general wherewithal or psychological state to be a judge.

And if you report me for saying that, you're ridiculous.

I think Britney is a wonderful mentor, and its obvious because her four are still in the competition, but her comments are so weak. Like she offers them no useful critique. Its sad when someone who's been in the industry for 10+ year is getting over-shadowed by some one who hasn't even had their time in the spotlight.

I don't see why she's offended by Britney's comment, i thought everyone knew by now that hers shouldn't be taken seriously at all

And this chris1991 member really needs to seek help. He's far to obsessed with a singing show contestant he supossedly hates, yet he reamins perched in here and CiCi isn't even a pop star yet

If her critiques were being fed or rehearsed she would be doing a lot better.

It seems like there are four or five key phrases that she sticks to in dishing out her critiques. There's nothing authentic or dynamic about what she says, she just basically says the same thing over and over.

And let me say this--I'm not hating on Britney. I recognize her skill, legacy, and longevity. I wanted her to do well on X Factor. I think, as one of the biggest pop stars in the world, she has an incredibly distinctive perspective to bring to the table. But something is being lost in translation.

She still sucks though so

I think sometimes she might sing too loudly or a little too nasally, but she can definitely sing. You should find the YouTube of her singing "I Will Always Love You." She knocks it out of the park. She's just really been fumbling during the live shows.

People annoy me with how they judge Britney and her judging, everybody has their own style of reactions and Britney has ALWAYS been straight to the point, and she was straight to the point with CeCe. If CeCe feels hurt then she needs to find herself, I feel like CeCe has no real character/shtick/niche and the judges can obviously see that.

Demi has a thing for molding her contestants into something their not. She turned Jennel into Demi Lovato Jr. tbh.

Yes, I bet they are telling Britney to say "amazing and "true star". Her script writer is going to win a Writer's Guild Award at this point.

HER ASS NEEDS to be feed lines, but if you honestly think the words out of her mouth are from some producer behind the scenes, than I have some swamp land to sell you that will be act as a strong foundation for any building

I think she is quite unlikable and I remember her being very bitchy towards other contestants in the early audition rounds, but I did like her performance this week.

She moved up a lot in the leaderboard though so I guess good for her.

I do agree with her about Britney's comment. I think Britney could have elaborated a bit more.

You guys need to chill out a bit, It's getting too stressful and it's kinda hard to enjoy the show.
