it's probably because most of the demographic of Madge's audience are between in their 40-50's.

People in their 40s and 50s can stand and cheer contrary to Monster opinion.
I'd say most of her demographic is from the 30s to 40s with older and younger mixed in - and most of them work and don't depend on their parents to fund their concert experience. Demographic also heavily female and gay (female, gay, husbands/boyfriends taking wife/girlfriend). When we were coming out of MSG on Monday this was a passer by: "what's going on? This is a lot of women out at this time of night!"

I think a lot of people seeing Madonna in the U.S. were also going to see her for the first time or going to their first concert. A lot of her sales were prompted out of her kickin' butt at the Super Bowl and people remembering "it's Madonna!" So, it's Madonna and their first concert - they want to capture they were there and saw Madonna LIVE.
I regret not going last night but I was whipped after going on Monday and then staying up half the night. I don't give a crap about PSY, that's not where my regrets come in. It's a great show and it was my last opportunity to see Madonna perform it during this tour and I could have gone IF I hadn't given in to my exhaustion (and cheapness, lol).
