Popfusion is now the new ATRL. Here's some stuff people have been wondering about.
Why did the name "Popfusion" go away?
At first, "Popfusion" was a great idea, but it failed because we never got to do everything we wanted to do with the site. Most of us still felt like this site was "ATRL." That's what we've always called it. Because of this, we renamed the site "ATRL."
This does not mean we are a TRL fan site again.
Let me make something clear. The site is not "Absolute TRL" again. This really has nothing to do with Total Request Live. The name just reflects what this site really is. We are ATRL. The acronym no longer stands for anything.
You do not have to register again.
Just sign in with your existing Popfusion or Absolute TRL user name and password.
What happened to the site on Wednesday?
Some idiot and/or hacker managed to bring down the server today, which meant we lost everything since Monday, and ughhhhh, that is so annoying. The posts since Monday are gone, and I had to do a lot of work to bring back the layout and color schemes. Joe also worked a lot to restore the database from Monday. Thankfully, we had just backed up recently because of the server switch. He said he's gonna make the server do automatic backups now so this type of thing can't happen again. Let's hope so, because if this does happen again, then it's really time to cut a bitch...
Believe me, more than anyone else, Joe and I hope there are no more errors. When something like this happens, we're absolutely screwed, we have to do so much just to get the site operating again.
Didn't this happen about this time last year?
For some reason, I distinctly remember wanting to get the one-days for decemberunderground (which came out 06.06.06) and the site being down.
