I personally don't think it's sincere all the time but she makes a lot of people happy, whether it's sincere or not. and I do think that a lot of people "fake" being nice just to be polite, we do it every day when we say "hi" or welcome someone.. just a bit of decency I guess. but I also think she's going overboard to the point of pandering at times, and she needs to watch out with that, cuz if she gets caught at being a bitch with a fan or having a weak moment one time it won't be pretty cuz her entire image is build on it.

but yeah personally I do not believe her because she changes personalities often.. she can go from cursing to an interviewer and speaking a lot of weird nonsense (MNE, 2011) and being very pretentious about herself - to being kind with her fans to the point you'd think she wants to be "the real santa".
she also appears to lick the asses of almost everyone.. and only shows her true feelings on her littlemonster site. so that makes her appear two-faced.

On paper she is incredibly nice (her actions, her treatment to her fans etc) but I think there is a dark side to Gaga. I feel like a lot of the things she says are insincere, and I don't find her personality particularly approachable. She doesn't seem 'down to earth' either, and she seems to believe her own hype a lot.
