People have been doing wacky fashion WAY before Gaga came around so I don't get why if someone other than Gaga dresses differently they think they're copying Gaga. Gaga isn't the first to dress with wacky costumes, nor is the last. AND Nicki has toned down her outfits lately.

I guess- no offense to you- that's symptomatic of what usually happens in a case like this. An artist says or does or announces something that a very (or a simply more) popular artist has done before (or something similar), and people shout copycat, when in fact this artist has maybe been doing or promoting said thing for as long as the other one, or probably longer.

It's all about media and public exposure. The one who was on mainstream news/pop culture sources about it earlier is the "original" one in the public perception of things.
