Omg. Some idiots were discussing this in my Art class. They were like "I'm going to feel sorry for my children, my wife is going to be sexy so my kids are going to be ugly, I need an ugly wife etc".

Anyone with common sense knows that you inherit your parents features. Whether you inherit it the bad or good way is all down to chance (For example, if a female got her dads masculine nose). It's not rocket science.

Genetics are more than just parents. Have you ever seen someone with a large family and thought "well, he doesn't look like the others" or seen a brother /sister pair, one with brown hair and brown eyes and another with blonde hair and blue eyes. Just because the parents are "ugly" doesn't mean that it's SOLELY their genetics in the mix. So to answer your question, yes they do and it depends on what you think is 'unattractive.'

It's a toss up. Two hot people are totally capable of having ugly children (I laugh when they say their kids are going to be gorgeous because they are, yeah not necessarily). And I've seen ugly people have attractive kids a million times. Or think of when you see somebody hot, then their sibling is totally not. Or a person you find ugly surprisingly has a hot sibling. Genetics work however they want to.
