HIAM was ruined by that on air-on sales strategy. Which they only tried on Britney's song.

But they haven't. They were planning to release it weeks after WW release to build up demand, but instead they released it in second week due to high demand basically missing out on the first week hype opportunity and not building enough hype either. Such fail. Could have charted higher in UK if release as WW and would snatch #1 WW too

I mean HIAM sold like 411,000 first week in the US alone, but why didn't it top Mediatrafic?
