I think the Ray Of Light was peak of her artistry and also was like spiritual rebirth for Madonna, and she forgot about material things and things that don't matter in life, all because of Lourdes, the whole album is a masterpiece and noone will ever top it, in American Life she felt revolutionary and political, a lot of targeting on media, double standards, feminism, Hollywood, America, politics etc which i love but Ray Of Light was better imo..
