I really like this review of it, mainly because I wrote it, ha ha!

This was my conclusion to the review..
Conclusion – the boys are moving their music forward at a snails pace, but I don’t actually see that as a bad thing. As my mum would say to me ‘if it ain’t broke then don’t fix it’ and the 1D machine certainly isn’t broke, in fact it’s working all around the world.
This album will feed that appetite, in some respects their success as a band is growing faster than their music and these songs were greatly needed to support more promotion and a new tour, interviews, all the things that Modest Management will have set up for them. But was a new style of music needed? No, the fans are happy with their first album sound and this is just a continuation of that.
As with most albums there are stronger and weaker tracks but on the whole it was a pleasant listening experience and I’m really looking forward to seeing the stronger tracks as possibly singles and on their tour.
For their next album I would love for them to have the time to really craft the LP and get more involved with the song-writing process, I would also like to see them mature slightly in terms of their more upbeat songs, I think they could easily raise their game a notch or too and get away from the ‘kids’ market.
Good job boys – 7/10
