Adam hardly forgot who Tony is.

He signed him on his label and all the songs in Tony's album have Adam's approval on them actually.
Tony was in Adam's car when he exited from Live with Kelly and Michael interview at the end of this past October and had time booked with him in a recording studio those days (look behind him, the one aside him instead is his girlfriend Behati).



Not to start any fight, I am glad the days of Adam and Christina's fights are over but Tony is going to stay in Adam's life way longer than Christina after this season of the show wraps off and she leaves (and when she will return, Adam won't if his latest interviews are a sign).

I don't know how much of a good taste is to write a song about that fight, but Tony is a songwriter and obviously he writes about things that affected him.
That surely did, it seems.

I'll reserve a proper judgement till I hear the song in full of course.

Well all of these Voice contestants have gotten dropped after one album only. So I dont know how long Tony would be in Adams life

Is this a one sided feud?

Adam didn't sign Tony due to The Voice related projects.
He signed him for his own label which has nothing to do with The Voice, and hand-picked him (he didn't with Javier, although he brought Colon on tour with Maroon5 multiple times, last during their Summer Tour in 2012 in South America).
He's obviously invested personally in Tony and the bond they have developed means something to him, otherwise he wouldn't have spent time and money on him the way he is doing and will do (Adam is very careful about these things, and his own money).

I meant that when I said Tony is going to stick around Adam's life longer than Christina: he chose Tony to be one of his only three recording artists and he's going to help him way longer than his persistence on The Voice (I don't think Adam will remain there after Season 4, he's already hinting at that).
Their link as much as some people won't like it seems very genuine.

It's as I said something that seems to have hit a deep nerve with him and whatever sides people have picked there, it's a songwriter right to express such feeling in a song (as long as it's not offensive, I agree there).

I just felt like it was completely inaccurate to assume Adam and Tony are not linked anymore, because their links are running deeper and deeper than ever actually.

I disagree tbh. You make it sound like there's one side to pick, when bottom line is it's not about Adam. Regardless of what the others said about them picking sides, as the person that signed him to his own label his job therein becomes more about guiding the artist in the direction they see fit based on the music they'd like to create + catering to a certain market/demographic.

That being said the music Lucca creates is of his own accord as the artist I'm sure they've discussed the path he's taking musically and the choices he's making from here on out.

At the end of the day we're only here discussing this because wether you like it or not he name-dropped Christina, then his manager comes along and cleans up his trail incase of backfire. If it truly was just a great 'rock' song and would be enjoyed by people that didn't know about the feud then why mention Christina's name in the first place? Please this is an obvious plea for desperate attention.

Honestly, wish him the best of luck with his music. I'll just reiterate if it wasn't for Christina I wouldn't have even known he has new music out or even had music out or is even touring. When his daughter is all grown up maybe she'll watch re-runs of his stint on MMC + the voice.
