These two games are always pitted against one another. Both have equal amounts of obnoxious "fanboys" (myself included). Black Ops II is going to be released tomorrow if I'm not mistaken and Halo 4 was released just last week.

But as two separate entities as a whole, which one is better?

Halo. I've always thought COD was so boring and repetitive. It's just a bunch of barely interactive set pieces.

Pretty much. It's also irksome how the character you play as is seemingly stronger than a Spartan-II. You just don't die in COD. Like, ever.

Sorry to get OT, but speaking of Halo, how is Halo 4? I can't decide between getting it or AC3

Black Ops series = Halo (depends on the quality of Black Ops 2) > COD 1, 2 and 3 > World at War >>>>>>>> Modern Warfare

The first Black Ops remains my favorite FPS since Halo 3, and I'm so stoked to get BO2 tomorrow. I want to rent Halo 4, but Redbox only offers the single player disc. Those bastards.
