I love The Sims but I'm not in denial, Katy's influence didn't do **** for an already doomed franchise. The only people that play the current version are constantly bitching about KP's Stuff Packs and items because they're pretty much useless unless you're a Katy stan. The SIms/EA Online Store is destroying the franchise, so they're using Katy as an attempt to being more likeble to the GP but it's just not enough.

No shade, though, just the truth.

Sims never went downhill. Quality from expansion to expansion can get rocky due to the tight schedule EA has them on and for sure that's a problem but commercially? Taking 30 seconds to Google tells me that the Pets expansion alone sold over 7 million copies.
