Half of the re-up songs are watered down still. I want an album that is completely like the first five songs on PF:RR.
There's nothing wrong with "watered down" songs imo. They're still hip hop, and all hip hop artists do catchy songs.
I hope Nicki's speaking the truth though. I don't really believe her, but I would be delighted if she stopped doing songs like Starships. It's made her so hated recently, compared to even 12 months ago.
Not sure exactly why a few of you will miss songs such as Automatic (), Whip It, and Pound The Alarm when we literally have 15 other pop artists who have insanely similar songs to choose from. You're well fed already.
Well, good luck, I think if she gives up on pop, she'll be paving the way for failure.
She was successful for years before Starships. She might be fine, but Starships and Pound the Alarm's backlash might be too much to recover from now. But I think if she gives it time she can get back to where she used to be pre-2012.
