This is something I've wanted to start for a while now and what better time to do it than around the holiday season I thought. Basically what this project will be is a documentary of the users around ATRL. Film yourself doing a performance, a music video, a tour of your area, you grocery shopping, you showing us your pop collection, anything really. The main focus is that we get to know our community more. It'd be great to have the videos be Holiday themed for the December release.
Once the submissions are in I will start editing everything together into a huge video, my goal is to reach at least 60 minutes and be able to premiere it live on tc or plug.dj for everyone to see. It'll end up on Youtube regardless of the premiere.
When does this start?
As soon as this thread is posted you are free to start filming.
How long does my video have to be?
There is no set limit but since I'm trying to make a long video, the longer the better. A lot of stuff will be taken out anyway since I'll be editing the clips into separate segments, documentary style.
How do I submit my video?
Upload it to Youtube and PM it to me, don't post it here. I'm trying to keep the footage a surprise to all the other users. As soon as I get the video you may remove it from Youtube if you wish.
What if I want to do a performance or music video but don't know how to edit it?
PM me, I'll be happy to edit your video before it gets put into the documentary, but make sure I receive it way before the deadline so I don't have to worry about editing more than one thing.
When is the deadline to submit videos?
December 10th, 2012. That'll give me enough time to finish editing right before Christmas for the premiere.
May I submit more than one video?
Sure, the more the merrier.
