I have all the stats for the longevity but the thing is... I have noticed that recent songs tend to have more longevity than songs from 2003-2007. For example, Starships has spent 500+ weeks on 20 different charts worldwide; about the same amount as Madonna's Hung Up and Britney's Toxic. So that's why I left longevity out.
That's an interesting observation.
Though I do wonder how accurate of a gauge this is -- HIAM went Top 10 most places, and then freefell. Does that really deserve as many points as a Starships type song that refused to die?
